Vinyl Silane Coupling Agent VS-172 is colorless clear liquid, can dissolve in methanol, ethanol, toluene, xylene and acetone. When stir it fully, it can dissolve in water and the water solubility can reach 5%w/w.

Application

Vinyl Silane Coupling Agent VS-172 enhances the electrical specification and mechanical strength of EPDM (filled with inorganic filler), cross-linked polyethylene and its polymer or resin.

Its performance is especially remarkable under hygrometric state. It can be applied as the surface treating agent for pottery clay and siliceous inorganic filler, added using the co-fixing method.
