Application
With the function of both coupling agent and crosslinking agent, VS171 can be applied to polyethylene, polypropylene, unsaturated polyester and other polymers.
VS171 can be used to improve the affinity of glass fibre, inorganic fillers and resin to react with vinyl,
The basic reaction sequence is as follows: polyethylene is reacted (grafted) with vinyltrimethoxysilane, using a peroxide initiator, in an extruder. The grafted polyethylene is then formed into a finished product, such as cable jacketing, wire insulation, or pipe. vinyltrimethoxysilane is a kind of vinyl functional silane with vinyl fuctional group and methoxy functional group, mainly be used as cross-linking agent for XLPE cable materials, paint, textile etc
Package and storage
1. Package : 25kg in plastic drums or 190kg / drum and 950kg / IBC.
2. Storage : Kept in a low temperature, dry and ventilated place, avoid direct sunlight.
3. Shelf life : One year in ventilating, cool and dry area.
