C5 aliphatic and C9 aromatic resins can be modified by mixing the two feed streams together at a ratio to produce hybrid polymers.Copolymer resin own the properties of C5 intial viscosity characters and C9 permanent viscosity.

Application

This light colored resin is designed to provide better odor and more cohesion than rosin esters for hot - melt packaging applications.

Straight C5 aliphatic resins or C9 aromatic resins cannot perform both of these functions simultaneously. These resins develop superior tack in SBS systems as well as reducing the melt viscosity.

Mixed aliphatic/aromatic resins are manufactured with varying proportions of the previously described C5 and C9 feedstocks to produce resins with a range of softening points and molecular weights.

Packing and Storage

1. Packing : 25kg in PE bag or Paper bag. The packing can be customized by client's requirements.

2. Storage : Kept in a low temperature, dry and ventilated place, avoid direct sunlight.

3. Shelf life : One year in ventilating, cool and dry area.
