Copolymerized hydrocarbon resins have advantages both of c5 and c9 petroleum resins and​ has better solubility Soluble at all useful proportions in aliphatic, aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons, esters and ethers. Insoluble in alcohols, glycols and water.It also has brittle, increasing viscosity, cohesiveness and plasticity.
